Scrip
Certificate Program
Our
annual car raffle helps fund a permanent endowment for IC School to finance
technology, capital improvements, scholarships, etc. The winner of the
2009 Mercedes Benz was R. Coombs of Alpena, Michigan. The
winning ticket was #40867. Congratulations! Thank you to all who supported our 3nd annual car raffle. It really makes a
difference for our students. Please check back in late August for details
on next year's Mercedes raffle.
Scrip is an easy way to raise funds and support our
school. They are essentially gift certificates that you purchase at face
value for national and regional stores, restaurants, gas stations, catalog
companies, theaters, grocery stores, airlines, phone cards, etc. Use
them instead of cash for the things you normally buy. Just place your
order every week by 10am Thursday morning and your certificates will be ready
for pick-up by the following Wednesday. Click for a printable order
form. To see a list of available retailers, click here.

Funding Factory has a program for recycling old cell phones.
IC School receives up to $20 per phone, which we can redeem for computer
equipment, software, as well as other school related equipment. Most
popular brands are eligible, such as Motorola, LG, Nokia, Ericsson, Audiovox,
Sprint, Qualcomm, and others. Please send in your old phones (without
accessories) to the IC Computer Room or place in the box at the entrance of the
Multi-Purpose Room or the Campbell Label box in the front of church.
Please save the UPC codes from all Campbell (soups, beans, etc.), Pepperidge
Farm (stuffing, croutons, GoldFish snacks, cookies, etc.), Prego (pasta
sauces), Swanson (broth, chicken), Franco-American (SpaghettiO's,
etc.), V-8, and Market Day products. For a list of what to
save, Click
Here or stop into the Computer room for a copy of the list. If you are uncertain what part
of a label to save, send in the entire
label and we will save the part we need. Please note that in the past
LFE wanted the front labels for many of its products. As of June 2006, LFE
will accept only UPC codes (and lids from some products). UPCs or
entire labels may be placed in the Campbell Label Container in front of
the school library, in Dwyer Hall corridor, or in the front vestibule of church.

IC
is participating in the BoxTops online shopping program. By
shopping online through the BoxTops website, a percentage of your purchases go
to IC School. Go to http://www.boxtops4education.com.
Click on the red Login link in the top right corner of the page. On
the next page, click on the Learn More link. Register for IC School
and then go to the Marketplace tab at the top of the page to shop online
at such stores as Land’s End, JCPenney, Best Buy, Gap, Pottery Barn, Dell,
Apple, etc. etc. Make sure you go to your favorite store from the BoxTops
website every time you shop. Scrip gift certificates you purchase
at school can be used to shop online through the BoxTops online shopping.
That way your money earns twice as much for IC School.
Please save the Box Tops for Education labels found on the boxes of General
Mills cereals (Cheerios, Wheaties, etc.), Betty Crocker products (cake
mixes, Bisquick, Hamburger Helper, etc.), Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks (e.g. Fruit
by the Foot), Pillsbury rolls, cookies,
etc., Yoplait, Kleenex, Scott, Ziploc, and Old El
Paso products. For a list of products Click
Here. IC School receives 10 cents for every label.
Labels can be brought to school and placed in the container in front of the
school library, in Dwyer Hall corridor, or in the box in the front vestibule of church.
We have an on-going fundraising project in the Computer Room. Please do
not throw away your empty inkjet, laser, and copier cartridges.
We are participating in a cartridge recycling program where we can earn cash for computer equipment. 85% of the cartridges used in the
US are eligible including
Apple, HP, Canon, Epson, Lexmark, IBM, Dell, Okidata, Sharp, Xerox, Samsung, and others.
Send all empty cartridges (in a
bag or box) to the Computer Room or place in the box at the entrance to the
Multi-Purpose Room or leave in the Labels for Education box in the front of
Church.
Please advertise this to anyone with a business connection. We appreciate
any support you can give.
